New Bolnore School

The new Bolnore Primary School continues to progress well. The new full Governing Body is being formed. The new school opened with one class, co-located  at St Wilfreds for a year,  in September. Building work commenced in June and the new building will open in September 2010. 

Court Meadow Special School, Cuckfield

WSCC is consulting on a plan to merge Court Meadow and Newick House School, Burgess Hill into a single new unit. Children up to key stage 3 (that's about age 14) would be moving to a new purpose built facility on land at the site of Oakmeeds School in Burgess Hill. Older children would remain in their existing facilities for another two years then be co-located on the Court Meadow site, although long term they would also move to the new site once further funding can be secured. Warden Park and St Pauls

The two secondary schools in my division were both in the top 25% of schools nationally in a recent league table, congratulations to the staff and students of these excellent schools.
