Sports, Leisure & Recreation

I'm a keen cricketer and also a school Governor. I’m a great believer in promoting sports for all ages particularly for the young and I want to ensure the protection of rural sports facilities for the use of all members of the community.

In Bolnore, I will continue to support the excellent work that has been done by Bolnore Village Residents Association (BVRA) in shaping the development of, and access to, the new Bolnore Village Sports Facility. This sports and leisure area must be developed sympathetically and must add to, not detract from the local residential environment. I will continue to support BVRA in their work towards creating the new Bolnore Community Centre.

In Ansty, I will continue to support and encourage the development of the Ansty Sports & Social Club and Ansty Village Hall, as they seek to renew their respective facilities.
